BlazBlue Continuum Shift II

The first real difference between the two versions, beyond the use of 3D on the Nintendo console, it is unfortunately the lack of an online mode. It will be possible to struggle with opponents from around the world only through connection on the PSP with the PS3. As for the content that we expect, our help comes in its own press release Aksys Games.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift II will contain the complete set of single player mode from the console versions of the Arcade, Attack Story, Training and the Story mode, as well as an ad-hoc multiplayer mode. In addition to these exclusive modes will be present for the portable versions that will include new elements such as history and how the Legion 1.5 el'Abyss Mode.

All 18 characters of the original game include DLC: Moakoto Valkenhayn and Platinum is expected from the handheld version of the fighting.  Last but not lest, Aksys promises updating the balance of the characters to the console version 1.03 of the home, arriving in May.

The prerequisites for a good fighting game we are all, in other words, even though to leave bitter taste in the mouth is the aforementioned lack of an online mode on the Nintendo 3DS. Just for comparison, we can say that this possibility is Street Fighter IV, and is also very well made.

Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions

The famous software company Namco Bandai to announce the imminent release of a new and exciting chapter in the saga Galaga and Pac-Man, for the first time, will be assembled in a single game that will be released for Nintendo 3DS. The highly anticipated title contains within it two completely separate games and you can choose between a first person shooter, Galaga 3D Impact and powered by a two-dimensional platform for the classic Pac-Man Tilt.

The three-dimensional version of Pac-Man and Galaga, as well as to contain within it two new chapters (Pac-Man and Galaga 3D Tilt Impact) completely new, will offer players the opportunity to engage in old versions of the two action packed games: Pac-Man , Pac-Man Championship Edition, Galaga, and Galaga Legions. The mentioned chapters of the game, you will find inserted in the Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions 3D. They constitute a kind of journey in the history of two famous arcade. From a strictly technical point of view, as you may have had the opportunity to guess the introduction, although it is designed for platform 3DS, Tilt Pac-Man game will be a two-dimensional and will have no stereo support. What you present to us will be a Classic platform, but will leverage the innovative control of the Nintendo 3DS as the use of the gyroscope. All motion sensors and the same tilt of the console that will focus sull'inclinazione will be shown in its maximum by a pendulum.

As for the three-dimensional Galaga Dimensions, and the resulting high-impact graphics, has been chosen as the strength of the new game: in a colorful and constantly changing environments you will have to defeat enemies using only the slope of the consoles central and disintegrate. However, according to the latest rumors in circulation, it seems that because of the rapidity of the movements that you find yourself having to put in place. The three-dimensional effect of Galaga Dimensions bears some discomfort thus leading to prefer moving from 2D to 3D. Of course for now it is just leaked on the net but as soon as Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions 3D will be placed on the market. We will have the opportunity to personally experience the same three-dimensional effect.

Mario Kart 7

During his press conference, Nintendo announced Mario Kart 7 as one of the most interesting line-up of winter 3DS. The franchise has become synonymous with fun in the years either alone or in company, and this new episode for the console with a 3D screen, at least at first glance does not seem to disappoint the expectations. The event in Los Angeles we had the opportunity to try a demo consists of three tracks, which allowed us to assess the main changes introduced in this new member of the series.
One of the new features in Mario Kart 7 there is revealed during the press conference. After all these years in the ground miles and miles of asphalt, Mario & Company have decided that for their intense competition it is time to take flight. The vehicles are equipped with a hang glider in fact, in case of jumping from diving boards at breakneck speed, allow you to glide through the air with its own mini-kart. The control system in this case is very simple, with the ability to glide toward the ground faster, thus acquiring a higher speed, or maintain a sustained speed of course not, so you can stay in the air for as long as possible and gain ground by cutting the corners. The sections in flight tested in the demo we have positively affected especially in these times. The stereoscopic 3D allows you to enjoy an unparalleled depth of field, an experience that our eyes have been very evident Pilot wings Resort.
But the flight is not the only new "variant" present in the Mario Kart Grand Prix 3DS, falling into the water we advance along the seabed of the circuit, thanks to a propeller at the back of our karts. Actually, the sessions of "swimming", compared to those of flight, there have appeared so different from the normal progression of the asphalt, but it's still an element that can be exploited to increase the variety of circuits in the game. Already in the demo, in fact, we competed in a track set in the jungles of Donkey Kong. Here the in-flight sessions, asphalt and water, have been integrated seamlessly, giving the player the ability to move by choosing from several alternative routes.
Back on track to collect the coins, there has been explained clearly what role it will play in this title, but given the presence of an editor for the karts. It is likely you will need to spend them to unlock new parts for our mini-racing cars. Why another innovation introduced by Mario Kart 7 is precisely the ability to modify parts of the kart selection menu it allows us to choose the type of wheels and hang gliding to be used during the competition. The choice of small wheels will make us faster and more agile on the track, but much less reactive in the off-road. If you do not want to lose ground in the backcountry, the choice will fall on the monster truck-style wheels, which offer optimum vehicle control in every situation, at the expense of speed. The demo did not offer many components that you can equip, but if the final product will contain a wide range of options, the player will be able to use different approaches and strategies to win races.
The evidence presented so far paint a true Mario Kart series, as always, standards, and test the hand we feel that the new features are not significant as to distinguish this title from other chapters. The ability to glide in the air or to drive the kart under water only seem minor ingredients of a recipe that has remained unchanged in all too many years. Removed because these two variants, the one we tested is a classic of Mario Kart: the dynamics of the game have remained almost identical and the fact that the demo does not include any new power-ups or new item on the track. We're hesitating on the variety actual experience of play, but when we do not have a comprehensive framework to express an opinion. To make a difference will be the overall quality of the tracks, the balance of gameplay, and additional features offered by Nintendo - multiplayer online first and foremost.

Star Fox 64 3D

Once again the Big N has decided to dust off a great masterpiece of the past to bolster its lineup for the new console arrived Portable 3DS, so after Zelda and Kid Icarus coming Starfox 64 re-mastered and enriched with new 3D features from the original Nintendo 64. The feature that impressed more, unlike what you might believe, it was not the graphics, which does not show a particular relatively little attention despite missing the exit, but the multiplayer mode and the control system, with its strengths and defects.

Most of the missions take place in a stage shift and our particular attention at this juncture will be to eliminate enemies that appear between us and the end of the level or the clash with the boss. Not only that, during various battles we must also be able to avoid the various buildings in the layer, such as buildings and similar buildings, or ships much larger than ours. At a time when we will face a boss recognize it immediately because, first of all, will be the only goal on the screen, and secondly we will offer a much larger space in which to unleash aerial duel. Will also change the strategy to be adopted will not be easy as down with the usual tactics used for normal enemies, but must be studied to better its operations, the timing of any attack and weaknesses and act accordingly.

From what we've seen and observed during the exhibition in Los Angeles, Nintendo has implemented two control modes: one, very classic, in which we drive our Airwing with the analog stick, and the second which will take advantage of motion control Based thanks to built-in gyro 3DS. Obviously, this control system is certainly one interesting feature, but as you wrote just above shows a defect, if not two, linked to the gyro: first of all we must place the console on a plan to allow a better calibration, just as happens for Wii Motion Plus, being able to tire the long player, but apparently this can be eliminated in the final version. Moreover, despite all the calibration process, the motion-based controls were not entirely satisfactory from the point of view of responsiveness from a purely technical point of view, namely using the gyro should move the console and in doing so you go to temporarily lose the 3D effect because the eye has to get used to the new angle, forcing the player to eventually opt for a more classic two-dimensional screen.

Surely that has attracted more public attention to the "new" adventure of Fox McCloud was the multiplayer component. The most curious and captivating is the fact that the 3DS, built through the camera, record and resume our face while we play against our opponents, in order to see us play constantly streaming to the above our ship, of course a similar focus will the other players. This nice addition is interesting for two reasons: on one hand we can easily identify the enemy to be destroyed because they do not have to go and find her Airwing in space, but we just look inside the box with his face from the console again, from ' else we will simply be the sheer pleasure of seeing in direct face of the enemy pilot shot down or filled with joy when he shot down our ship. But even here there is a little doubt because it is no online mode, then the faces that you see reproduced on the screen will be those of our friends that we both started in the space battles, probably in the same room.
